LEADERSHIP ELECTIONS
We will be Electing the 2023 Leadership this January! If you are interested in running please reach out. You can read more about each role in our Constitution and Bylaws.
Important Dates:
Deadline to declare you are running for a position: January 9th
Voting dates: January 12th-January 14th (all eligible members will receive a link to vote via email and/or Slack)
Voting eligibility: Everyone who’s paid dues, and been to a meeting and/or event who joins the Slack by Jan 2023 is eligible to vote in the election.

At our recent general meeting, we heard from a handful of candidates seeking our endorsement. The results of the vote are in! We are proud to endorse Suraj Patel, Grace Lee, and Japneet Singh.

EXCITING NEWS - FUNDRAISING!
Exciting news! We are preparing to file as a nonprofit. This legal status will allow us to be an official legal organization and will also allow us to get a bank account.
In order to file, we need to hire a lawyer to put together the paperwork and advise us. We have scoped out a reasonably priced lawyer who has quoted us $1080 for the process. We have started a Fundly (similar to Gofundme) to raise money to hire him!
